Orthopedic Physical Therapist Job in Seattle

Salmon Bay Physical Therapy is hiring for an Orthopedic Physical Therapist job in Seattle, and we’re looking for someone who remembers why they applied to PT school in the first place. If you’ve been feeling stuck, seeing more patients than you can really give your full attention to, this is a practice built around the opposite approach: fewer patients, more focus, and the time to actually make a difference for the people in front of you.

See Fewer Patients, Make a Bigger Difference

At Salmon Bay PT, we focus on one thing: seeing fewer patients so you can focus on the ones you’re trying to help. Most of our PTs work about 36 hours a week, and we actively encourage working a little less so you can go enjoy a whole afternoon, something that’s easy to do in Seattle between the outdoor access and the amenities only a bigger city can offer. Your commitment to patients also supports our commitment to the neighborhood: we back Sound Foundations NW, and for fun, our own neighborhood soccer teams, Ballard FC and Salmon Bay FC.

We’ve built a reputation over more than 16 years as a locally owned practice serving North Ballard, Ballard Bridge, and (starting this September) Northgate, and much of that reputation comes from patient referrals through friends, family, healthcare providers, and local organizations. That’s the kind of trust that comes from actually having the time to build real relationships with the people you treat.

Our Values, In Practice

We’re true to five values here: be a good neighbor, work together to work better, commit to lifelong learning, do the right thing instead of the easy thing, and put people first. Those aren’t just words on a wall, they shape how our team supports patients and each other day to day, and we make sure to do a lot of fun things together along the way, whether that’s a cookout, a soccer game, or just gathering as a team. Our team members get to build meaningful relationships with patients, work alongside experienced healthcare professionals, and take part in ongoing learning and professional development, all inside a supportive team culture that puts people first.

We’re looking for outgoing, team-oriented PTs who love being a PT and want to be part of something bigger than themselves, and who recognize, like we do, that what we’ve built here is a little different from the typical clinic. We’d rather take the time to find the right fit than fill a seat quickly, because we know how much that fit matters once you’re actually part of the team.

Compensation:

  • $80,000–$100,000 / year, depending on hours worked and profit sharing

If any of this speaks to you, even a little, we want to meet you. You’ll be joining a team that genuinely believes fewer patients and more focus makes for better care, better careers, and a better neighborhood, and that shows up in everything from our 36-hour work weeks to our unlimited CE. No cover letter needed for this one; our application tells us enough.
